GENERAL, RESERVATION, AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
Deposits and Payments
A
deposit of 50% is required on all reservations. We accept cash, checks
(for deposits only), and the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard,
Discover, and American Express.
- The remaining balance due on Check-in.
- A deposit of 100% is required for stays of three nights or less; or
for stays reserved within three week's of Arrival.
- International Guests are always welcome at High Haven House; reservations can be made online through our secure Availability and Reservations engine from BookingCenter.
- Your deposit by credit card will be charged immediately. Deposits
by check must be received within seven days after the reservation has
been made or your reservation will be cancelled.
- Your deposit will be applied to the last day of your stay and cannot
be applied to a stay shorter than your reservation.
- Rates on confirmed reservations are not subject to change.
- A Massachusetts State tax for room occupancy of 9.7% is added to the
cost of all accommodations.
Cancellations and Refunds
Your deposit is refundable, minus a 15% service charge on your reservation, if your written cancellation notification is received by High Haven House not less than three week’s prior to your Arrival.
- Within three weeks of your confirmed Arrival, payments are not refundable.
- Change to the confirmed arrival and departure dates during this period is not allowed, including cancellation or reservation changes due to weather, hardship, travel delays, or other reasons
- No refunds are given on late arrivals or early departures.
Check-In and Check-Out
Room check-in is normally between 2 p.m.-
7 p.m.; and room check-out is at 10 a.m.
- Check-in after 7 p.m. and up to the last
Steamship Authority ferry is by prior special arrangement.
- Late room check-out is subject to availability and an additional room
charge: for check-out up to 1:00 p.m., a half night room charge is applied;
and for check-out between 1 p.m. - 6 p.m., a full night room charge
is applied.
