In all of our food offerings, we are very sensitive to dietary restrictions, diabetic diets, and vegetarian diets.

In additions to providing our American and International Guests with endless hospitality, our previous lives as high level government and business executives qualifies us with the flair and tastes to apply meticulous details to any catered gathering we host, be they:

All of our Guest Rooms are business client friendly; and have a cable TV/VHS tape player, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, phone for outbound calls, clock radio, and air-conditioning. Our Deluxe King and Very Nice Queen rooms also are spacious enough to comfortably add a third guest in our hotel quality portable beds.


Our Apartment/Suites come equipped with a full kitchen with dining service for four, range, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, assorted pots and pans, and cooking utensils; cable TV/VHS tape player; and a telephone for outbound calling. We have clothes irons and hair dryers available.  Each Apartment can accommodate up to a fifth guest.  We invite you to take time to enjoy our gardens and song birds that populate our neighborhood's trees.

We can arrange In-Room Massages by a well-known, local massage therapist; and will be happy to recommend places to dine, make reservations, and provide you with the details on activities you might wish to engage in.

We can very graciously host small Weddings and Wedding Receptions, outdoors for up to fifty guests; and wedding parties.  Similarly, we can provide catering, in-house conference rooms, and audio-visual, computer networking, and telecommunications technical support for Business Conferences, Executive Meetings, and Board Meetings, for parties of up to twelve guests.

High Haven House is conveniently located six streets up from the Vineyard Haven Steamship Authority Terminal and the cross-Island bus transit junction; and is less than a ten minute walk to historical Vineyard Haven Village and its gourmet restaurants (the Mediterranean, Café Moxie, Le Grenier, and Zepherus), its galleries, its theaters, and shopping.  Other venues within a fifteen minute walk from the Inn are public tennis courts, Owens Park Beach, Tisbury Elementary School playground, food markets, the Vineyard Playhouse, the Jewish Community Center, public libraries, as well as the Bedford Fast Ferry.  Mink Meadows Golf Club, an excellent public golf course by the sea, is only two and a half miles from the Inn.  It is worth noting that Martha's Vineyard now has a professional, modern, inexpensive, and schedule-driven bus transit system to help you get between and round about our six major towns.
